Drilling Fluids Engineer Consultant
• Under general supervision provided onsite mud-engineering services by measuring mud weight & measuring volume of mud in mud tanks/well. This was determined by calculating metallic displacement.
• Responsible for ensuring that the properties of the drilling fluid are within the designed specifications of the “Mud Program” at different depths, using specific concentrations of certain products.
• Conducted chloride testing, solid oils/water ratio testing, hi-temp/high pressure testing.
• Maintained different properties of drilling fluid such as specific gravity, funnel viscosity, gel
strength and percentage of solids in order to smooth the progress of effective drilling.
