Principal Chemist, Asset Integrity
• Designed, evaluated, and managed corrosion inhibitors for oil and gas production globally. Products consisted of best in class technologies for multiple applications including subsea umbilical, capstring, and gas lift certified products.
• Managed projects designed to solve corrosion problems for the largest oil companies globally. Projects consisted of designing laboratory experiments that would mimic corrosion failures. Completion of the projects would lead to best practice recommendations for at-risk wells.
• Led project to eliminate H2S generation from corrosion inhibitor degradation. The project’s success decreased HSE dangers during transportation and storage of corrosion inhibitors.
• Developed a new product line based around scale, corrosion, FeS dissolver triple combination products for US land operations.
• Performed H2S modeling for sour systems that would lead to recommendations in dose rates for applications of H2S scavengers.
• Participated in field audits as corrosion subject matter expert.
• Served as Safety Champion for Asset Integrity R&D between 2014-2015.
