Publicly Traded Frac Sand Companies
As the price of oil and gas rise so does the need for frac sand. In this environment, three frac sand public companies are adapting well and a fourth high-profile merger is about to list publicly.
The three companies are Hi-Crush LP (HCLP), Smart Sand (SND), and US Silica (SLCA).
The merging companies are Fairmont Santrol and Unimin, which will go public June 1 as Covia with stock symbol CVIA.
