Drilling Fluid Engineer at Arkleen Oil and Gas Limited (June, 2008 – present)
Responsibilities
Drilling and Completion/Work over fluid’s engineering which includes: To carry out mud test and identify areas that requires treatment, treat mud to specification, writing and interpretation of mud program, preparing of daily mud report, critically evaluates drilling mud cost/performance characteristics, optimize profit without sacrificing drilling objectives, educates/advise the client company on mud related issues, ensures proper chemical supply and keeps good record of daily chemical consumption, and communicates with the operations manager about the current operations. Supervises operations such as mixing and bulking of drilling fluids chemicals at the mud plant. Assist in preparation of tenders for new contracts.
Major Achievements
Involved in the successful drilling and work over/re-entry campaign of the following wells in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria:
Ologbo oil field which includes Ologbo-1 to Ologbo-14, Ogharefe field, Ona-1, 2,3,4,5, Eriwindu-2, and 3, Ossiomo-7, belonging to Pan Ocean Oil Corporation Nigeria an NNPC JVC, Umutu-6 and 7, Egbaoma-4ST belonging to Platform Petroleum Nigeria Limited, Akepo 1ST (Side Track) Shallow offshore belonging to Oando Plc.
Rig names: LLOYD NOBLE (Jack up rig), KCA-DEUTAG T-57 (Land rig) KCA-DEUTAG T-76 (Land rig), DWC-30 (Land rig) DWC-20 (Land rig), KCA-DEAUTAG T-43 (Land rig).
